Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in time is 14:00 (2:00 PM). Our reception team will greet you, hand over your suite keys, and give you a quick orientation of the property including parking and WiFi details. If you arrive earlier than 14:00, we are happy to store your luggage free of charge while you explore Bloubergstrand Beach or grab lunch at one of the nearby restaurants.
Check-out time is 10:00 (10:00 AM). Late check-out may be available subject to availability – please enquire with reception at least the evening before. If your flight departs later in the day, we offer complimentary luggage storage so you can enjoy the beach or the area before heading to Cape Town International Airport.
No problem at all. We offer complimentary luggage storage so you can head straight to Bloubergstrand Beach, explore the local restaurants, or visit nearby attractions like Table Bay Mall or the V&A Waterfront. Early check-in before 14:00 is subject to availability – contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you, especially during quieter periods.
Yes, we offer free luggage storage for all guests. This is particularly useful if you arrive on an early flight into Cape Town or have a late departure. Your bags are kept securely at reception while you make the most of your time in Bloubergstrand.
Suites & Self-Catering
We offer 56 self-catering suites ranging from intimate One Bedroom Luxury Suites (45m²) ideal for couples and business travellers, through Two and Three Bedroom suites for families and groups, up to our Penthouse Suite with wraparound views and the magnificent four-bedroom Presidential Suite (130m²). Every suite features modern coastal décor, a private balcony, and views of the Atlantic Ocean or Table Mountain.
Self-catering means every suite comes with its own fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette, so you can prepare meals at your convenience. Kitchens include an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, and a full set of cookware, crockery, cutlery, and glassware. A tea and coffee station with complimentary supplies is provided on arrival. This makes our suites ideal for families with children, long-stay guests, and anyone who prefers the flexibility of cooking at home while on holiday in Cape Town.
Every suite at Aquarius Luxury Suites includes: a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette, en-suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries and hairdryer, flat-screen TV with full DStv bouquet, air conditioning, private balcony with ocean or mountain views, free high-speed WiFi, an in-room safe, iron and ironing board, and fresh linen and towels. Our larger suites offer multiple bathrooms and open-plan living and dining areas.
No – Aquarius Luxury Suites is a self-catering property. All suites are equipped with a full kitchen or kitchenette so you can prepare your own breakfast at your leisure. There is a Spar supermarket and several convenience stores within a short drive of the property. Alternatively, Bloubergstrand has a number of excellent breakfast cafés and restaurants within walking distance, including options right on the beachfront.
Yes, extra beds and baby cots/cribs can be arranged subject to availability. Please contact our reservations team at least 48 hours before your arrival so we can prepare the suite accordingly. An additional charge may apply for extra beds. Baby cots are provided at no extra cost.

Beach & Location
Aquarius Luxury Suites is located directly on Bloubergstrand Beach – you are literally steps from the sand. Walk out the front entrance and you are on one of Cape Town's most iconic stretches of coastline, famous for its uninterrupted views of Table Mountain across Table Bay. The beach is perfect for morning walks, swimming, surfing, kitesurfing, and watching spectacular sunsets.
Yes – Bloubergstrand is renowned as the best vantage point for views of Table Mountain in all of Cape Town. Most suites at Aquarius Luxury Suites offer direct views of Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean from their private balconies. The views are truly breathtaking, especially at sunset. This is one of the most photographed viewpoints in South Africa.
Bloubergstrand offers a wonderful mix of outdoor activities and attractions. On your doorstep you have beach walks, swimming, surfing, and world-class kitesurfing at Big Bay (3 km away). Within easy driving distance: the V&A Waterfront with 450+ shops and restaurants (15 km), Table Mountain Cableway (20 km), Robben Island ferry departures, the Durbanville Wine Route (25 km), Stellenbosch and Franschhoek wine regions, Canal Walk and Table Bay shopping centres, and countless restaurants and cafés along the Blouberg beachfront.
Cape Town International Airport is approximately 16 km from Aquarius Luxury Suites, which takes around 20–25 minutes by car depending on traffic. We can arrange airport transfers for you – please enquire at least 24 hours in advance. The route is straightforward via the N1 and R27, making Bloubergstrand one of the most convenient beachfront locations in Cape Town to reach from the airport.
Absolutely. While Aquarius Luxury Suites is a self-catering property, Bloubergstrand has a vibrant dining scene within easy walking distance. You will find beachside cafés, seafood restaurants, pizza spots, and fine dining options along the Marine Drive strip. For grocery shopping, Spar, Pick n Pay, and Checkers supermarkets are all within a 5-minute drive. Table Bay Mall (5 km) and Canal Walk Shopping Centre (8 km) provide extensive retail and dining options.
Families & Groups
Absolutely. Our multi-bedroom suites are designed with families in mind. The Three Bedroom suites sleep up to 6 guests, and the Presidential Suite accommodates up to 8. Self-catering kitchens mean you can prepare meals for fussy eaters on your own schedule, and the beachfront location provides endless entertainment for children of all ages. Bloubergstrand Beach is a safe, gently sloping beach ideal for children. Baby cots are available at no extra charge on request.
Yes – we regularly host extended families, friend groups, and small group bookings. With 56 suites in the building, we can accommodate groups of various sizes. Contact our reservations team to discuss group rates and arrangements. We can often place your group on the same floor or in adjacent suites for convenience.
While Aquarius Luxury Suites does not have a dedicated event venue, there are excellent wedding and function venues in the Bloubergstrand area that we can recommend. Our suites work perfectly as stylish accommodation for wedding parties staying in the area. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Yes – many of our guests are business travellers visiting Cape Town. Every suite includes free high-speed WiFi suitable for video calls and remote work, a dedicated desk area, and a quiet, comfortable environment. The self-catering kitchen saves time and expense compared to eating out for every meal. We are conveniently located for businesses in Blouberg, Century City, and the Cape Town CBD (20 minutes by car).
Yes, we offer competitive long-stay and monthly rates for guests staying two weeks or longer. This is popular with relocating professionals, project-based workers, digital nomads, and families in between homes. Most suites have a dining table that doubles as a comfortable workspace, and the open-plan living areas provide ample space to set up your laptop. Yes, Aquarius Luxury Suites offers free secure underground parking for all registered guests. The parking garage is gated with 24-hour CCTV surveillance, so you can leave your vehicle safely during your entire stay. One parking bay per suite is included at no extra charge.

Yes, airport transfers to and from Cape Town International Airport can be arranged through our reception desk. Please enquire at least 24 hours in advance so we can coordinate your transfer. The airport is approximately 20–25 minutes from the property. Uber and Bolt ride-hailing services are also readily available in the area.
Yes – Schiaparelli Hair Salon is located in the Aquarius foyer, offering professional hair and beauty services without having to leave the building. Services include cuts, colour, blow-dries, and styling treatments. Bookings can be made directly with the salon.
Booking & Payments
Booking directly with us guarantees the best available rate – we match or beat any price you will find on third-party booking platforms. Direct bookings also give you access to exclusive specials and promotions, flexible cancellation terms, the ability to request specific suites or floors, and direct communication with our reservations team for any special requirements. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Payment can be made securely online when booking through our website, or at the property on arrival. For corporate and long-stay bookings, we can also arrange EFT (bank transfer) payments.
Our cancellation policy varies depending on the rate type, season, and length of stay. Free cancellation is typically available up to 30 days before your arrival date. For peak season and holiday bookings, stricter cancellation terms may apply. We recommend contacting our reservations team for the specific terms applicable to your booking before confirming.

Policies & Accessibility
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at Aquarius Luxury Suites. This policy is in place to ensure all guests enjoy a comfortable, allergen-free environment. We appreciate your understanding. If you need recommendations for pet-friendly accommodation in the Bloubergstrand area, our team is happy to assist.
The building has lift access to all floors, and the common areas and parking garage are accessible. However, not all suites are specifically designed for wheelchair access. Please contact our reservations team to discuss your specific accessibility requirements and we will do our best to allocate a suitable suite.
All suites at Aquarius Luxury Suites are strictly non-smoking. Designated smoking areas are available in outdoor common areas. A cleaning fee will apply if evidence of smoking is found in a suite.
